The Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils (GFCC) is pleased to welcome the Center for Research & Consulting as a new member.
Based in Astana, Kazakhstan, The Center for Research & Consulting is a private company that offers consulting to both public and private entities in the Central Asian republic. With particular focus on preparing Kazakh business and policymakers for an emerging era of technological disruption, shifts in energy consumption patterns, and the rising importance of urban centers of growth, the Center for Research & Consulting has taken a comprehensive look at the problems and potential solutions of Kazakhstan’s future.
The Center for Research & Consulting has undertaken projects in directing the city of Astana's urban development, collaborating with government bodies to formulate the Kazakh national innovation strategy, redefining fuel and energy complex development, among others. The Center recognizes the central importance of pairing local competitiveness at the city level with a coherent national innovation strategy and has embodied this approach in its consulting.
Through joining the GFCC community, the Center for Research & Consulting has deepened the engagement of Central Asia with the wider global innovation network, extending the GFCC’s footprint to an emerging section of the global economy.
