About the event
The Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils (GFCC) and Glavbolgarstroy (GBS) invite you to join a four-day program in Bulgaria, anchored by the 2026 Global Innovation Summit and rounded out by the GFCC Annual Meeting and a series of curated site visits across Sofia and Plovdiv.
Monday, October 19 — GFCC Annual Meeting
The program opens with the GFCC Annual Meeting, held at the Sofia Balkan Palace, the conference hotel for the week.
Tuesday, October 20 — Global Innovation Summit & Gala Dinner
The centerpiece of the week, the Summit convenes government, industry, and academic leaders under the theme "Powering Competitiveness: Energy, Infrastructure and Digital Innovation for Economic Transformation." A full day of keynotes and panels at the Sofia Balkan Palace — covering energy security, infrastructure, AI and digital innovation, and the future of competitiveness — culminates in a Gala Dinner that evening, also at the hotel.
