Mr. Charles Kiefel AM appointed Vice-Chair of GFCC Board of Trustees

We are pleased to inform our members and fellows that Mr. Charles Kiefel AM, founder and co-chair of the Australian Advisory Board on Competitiveness, has been appointed Vice-Chair of the GFCC Board of Trustees.
The Australian Advisory Board on Competitiveness joined the GFCC as a Sustaining Member in September this year, gaining the right to hold a leadership position within the organization. Mr. Kiefel was invited by GFCC President Deborah L. Wince-Smith to join the Board of Trustees in recognition of his outstanding work in supporting our mission and organizational development.

Mr. Kiefel has facilitated the engagement of a roster of new members and fellows Additionally, his efforts and work have enabled emerging young leaders from Australia to participate in the 2024 Global Innovation Summit. His new leadership position, therefore, comes as an acknowledgment to his contributions and commitment to expand connections within the private sector in Australia and across the globe.

The Vice-Chair of the Board plays a vital role in amplifying the GFCC’s voice on the global stage through his networks. He is instrumental in elevating the GFCC's international presence and global reach. In its new role, Mr. Kiefel AM will work to expand GFCC membership and impact.
