Australian Advisory Board on Competitiveness Appoints The Hon Arthur Sinodinos AO as Deputy Chairman

The Australian Advisory Board on Competitiveness (AABC) has appointed GFCC Distinguished Fellow The Hon Arthur Sinodinos AO as its new Deputy Chairman. The GFCC is excited to see this strategic addition to AABC's leadership team. This important development reaffirms AABC’s commitment to fostering innovation and advancing a business environment conducive to productivity growth, while also highlighting the significance of the Australia-United States partnership and the opportunity to engage other like-minded countries represented in the GFCC.
Mr. Sinodinos brings a wealth of experience in public policy, national security, industry innovation, economic policy, and banking. He recently served as the Australian Ambassador to the United States, where he played a fundamental role in key negotiations, including AUKUS, the Quad, and the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework. His distinguished career also includes serving as Australia's Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science and as a Senator for New South Wales, holding significant roles such as Cabinet Secretary and Assistant Treasurer.
