Being the President, Malaysia Rail Industry Corporation (MARIC) and Chairman, UPM Innovations at Universiti Putra Malaysia. He was the former President & CEO, Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) for over 15 years.

 

He currently serves as the Governing Board member of UNESCO’s Isfahan’s Regional Centre for Technology Incubators and Science Parks Development (IRIS) and as Advisory Board member, ASEAN Innovation Business Platform (AIBP). He is also a Mentor for the Women’s Leadership Foundation that selects and mentor potential leaders from both the corporate and public organisations.

 

He has developed national and industrial policies and strategies in the areas of high technology and innovation through smart partnership and established new institutions for implementation. In continuity, he aspires to transform the national and regional place-based innovation ecosystems into vibrant and competitive areas of innovation for entrepreneurs and start-ups.
