Al-Dabbagh Group joins GFCC as Corporate Member

The Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils (GFCC) is pleased to announce Al-Dabbagh Group as a new corporate member.

Al-Dabbagh Group is a family conglomerate founded in 1962 by His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Al-Dabbagh, the former Minister of Agriculture of Saudi Arabia. The Group leads a variety of sustaining, giving, and earning initiatives, principally concerned with addressing the 4 P’s (People, Planet, Philanthropy and Profit) and delivering on the Group’s vision to be a positive global corporate citizen delivering impact at scale for the greater good.

Of its earning initiatives, Al-Dabbagh Group has four strategic business portfolios with a flagship company for each. These include Food, Petroleum & Auto services, Housing, and Packaging. The Group aims to be among the top 20 wholly owned global family businesses by 2020.

Al-Dabbagh Group is led by GFCC Distinguished Fellow His Excellency Amr Al-Dabbagh as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Amr Al-Dabbagh was also the recipient of the 2016 Global Competitiveness Award for his contributions to the sphere of competitiveness and innovation.
