The communications and membership intern will be responsible for managing social media accounts, drafting press releases, crafting monthly newsletters and more. Candidates must have a communications or public relations background, strong written and oral communication skills and an interest in improving their communications skills by learning first-hand from experienced professionals. They will also provide general administrative support to build the GFCC’s membership base, including researching current and prospective members, and writing letters and briefing memos. They will also play an integral role in planning and executing key GFCC events, including major international conferences. Interns should be available to work in our D.C. office a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Compensation: GFCC interns receive a stipend of $100 per week and can also arrange to complete an internship for credit.
