Members are drawn from wide range of regions to facilitate international collaboration on promoting responsible economic development. In addition, the 10-member Multi-stakeholder Group consults a variety of stakeholders ranging from business and academic centers to youth.
Acting in an advisory role, the 10-member Multi-stakeholder Group aims to strengthen the UN’s application of SDG initiatives by contributing practical knowledge in STI fields. In this way, partnership between public service and private experience acts as a central theme of the organization.
Through a lifelong career in science and technology, Dr. Michiharu Nakamura adds great depth of expertise to the 10-member Multi-stakeholder Group. The GFCC extends congratulations to Dr. Nakamura for his continuing attention to STI development as a tool for the betterment of communities.
