We are proud to announce that Greg Treverton and Pete Worden are joining the GFCC as Distinguished Fellows.

Greg Treverton brings an extensive background in national security to the GFCC. He recently completed service as chairman of the National Intelligence Council, which provides both strategic intelligence and more immediate intelligence support to the senior foreign policymakers in the U.S. government. Dr. Treverton served as the director of the RAND Corporation’s Center for Global Risk and Security and has been a Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations.

Pete Worden is a recognized expert on space and science issues – both civil and military – and has been a leader in building partnerships between governments and the private sector internationally. He serves as the Chairman of Breakthrough Prize Initiative, where his current work focuses on deep-space exploration and the search for extra-terrestrial life. Dr. Worden previously was Director of NASA’s Ames Research Center and has held several positions in the United States Air Force.
