KERI meeting in Chicago

H.E Tae-Shin Kwon, President of Korea Economic Research Institute (KERI), attended the Annual Meeting of the American Economic Association (January 6-8), which focused on the current economic issues such as Brexit, the world’s sluggish growth and economic uncertainties.

On the second day, KERI held a roundtable moderated by H.E Tae-Shin Kwon on the Trump administration’s policy measures and potential countermeasures for the Korean economy. Speakers were eminent economists including Steven J. Davis, Professor of International Business and Economics at University of Chicago, and Barry Eichengreen, Professor of Economics and Political Science, University of California, Berkeley.
